LeverageTek is actively seeking a Business Analyst – Information & Data Management for a 12-month contract with its remote, Canada-based customer.

Work Location The successful candidate will work fully remotely. Candidates must be based in Canada and legally authorized to work in Canada.

Key Tasks

- Assess and document information management, records retention, disposition, classification, and governance requirements
- Analyze existing business processes and develop detailed business requirements for information management solutions
- Support implementation of records lifecycle management controls within enterprise and AI-enabled technologies
- Develop data maps, data dictionaries, metadata crosswalks, semantic models, and related data management artifacts
- Perform data analysis, data mapping, and data integration activities between Microsoft Dynamics and other data sources
- Support data modelling, reporting, analytics, and data quality initiatives
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and developers throughout solution design, development, testing, validation, and implementation
- Ensure solutions align with organizational policies, regulatory obligations, information management standards, and operational requirements
- Develop documentation and provide knowledge transfer, training, and operational handover to business and support teams
- Contribute to other related information and data management activities as required

Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Studies, Information Management, Records Management, Archival Studies, or a related discipline




- Minimum 5 years of recent experience in information and records management with a focus on electronic records management
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience developing data maps, data dictionaries, metadata crosswalks, and semantic models

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of recent Business Analysis experience including requirements gathering, documentation, and collaboration with development teams
- Demonstrated experience supporting design, development, testing, and implementation of technology solutions
- Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint, and enterprise Microsoft technologies
- Demonstrated understanding of information management, data governance, reporting, and analytics
- Experience developing and implementing records lifecycle controls including retention, disposition, classification, and governance
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with AI-enabled information management solutions (asset)
- Experience with AI governance and data governance frameworks (asset)
- Experience within a large, highly regulated or public-sector organization (asset)
- Experience working with complex enterprise data environments and integrations (asset)
