This full-time, on-site Business Development Coordinator role is based in Winnipeg, MB. The
Business Development Coordinator will manage client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and develop growth strategies. Responsibilities include building partnerships,
negotiating contracts, creating proposals, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align business objectives. The role requires effective communication, strategic planning, and a results-driven approach.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is
an asset; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 2-3 years of experience in account management, business development, or client
services within a marketing, advertising, or creative agency environment.
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets, with experience managing a
book of business and growing client revenue.
- Strong understanding of marketing, branding, and digital communications, with the
ability to translate client needs into effective proposals and scopes of work.
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships, including handling
day-to-day communication, problem-solving, and issue escalation.
- Experience preparing proposals, and status reports to senior decision-makers.
- Comfortable representing the agency at conferences, trade shows, and networking
events; willingness and ability to travel out of province as needed.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce or equivalent), Google Workspace, and virtual
meeting platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and
follow-through.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple
projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working closely with creative, project
management, and production teams to deliver high-quality work.
- Knowledge of or interest in Indigenous communities, economic development, and
reconciliation-focused work is considered an asset.
- Ability to travel for events/conference within Canada
Pay: From $50,435.00 per year
