Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve high-quality tea, coffee, and specialty beverages using various brewing equipment
- Handle food preparation and serving tasks efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as square for accurate cash handling and transactions
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Manage food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining hygiene protocols




- Assist with basic math calculations for cash transactions and daily sales reconciliation
- Support food service operations by restocking supplies, cleaning work areas, and ensuring a welcoming environment

Experience

- Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude!
- Familiarity with POS systems like square is a plus but can be learned on the job
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and balancing registers
