Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for new guests, ensuring a smooth flow of service
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs regularly
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly to tables when needed
- Monitor the dining area for spills or hazards, addressing them quickly to ensure guest safety
- Support kitchen staff with basic food handling tasks when required, adhering to health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service and guest needs
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by providing friendly, attentive support to both guests and colleagues
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
- Strong cleaning skills with an eye for detail to maintain a spotless dining area
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with team members and guests
- Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods during shifts
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations is a plus
- Experience in hospitality or hotel settings can be advantageous but is not mandatory
