We are seeking Personal Support Workers to assist a female employer with Cerebral Palsy, to provide personal care and assistance with all activities of daily living.

The employer has a strong passion and is very active in the community while also working towards becoming an Elementary School teacher.

She is looking for people who understand that support isn’t just about keeping someone at home but supporting someone achieve their lifestyle goal and live life to its fullest!

The ideal candidate for this position should possess skills such as reliability, patience, empathy, attention to detail, robust communication skills and willingness to learn.

Start date:

- October 15th 2026

Location:

- Coquitlam (Near Mountain View Elementary School)

Shifts:

- Monday to Thursday
- 7:00am to 9:00am
- Friday 6:00am to 8:00am
- Saturday 8:00am 12:00pm
- Sunday 8:00am to 10:00am

Compensation:

- $28 per hour

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

- Daily personal care such as dressing/undressing, toileting and catheter car - morning routine
- Positioning and Transfer assistance with Sara Stedy
- Meal Preparation
- Light Housekeeping such as laundry, dishes and sweeping
- Accompanying employer out in the community such as grocery shopping, errands and appointments

Required Qualifications:





- Combination of healthcare education background and experience - required
- Trauma-informed or willing to learn trauma-informed care - preferred
- Be comfortable working in an environment with a pet dog
- Non-smoking/non-vaping - required
