We manage capital on behalf of various partners, including banks, insurance companies, pension funds, family offices, credit unions, and individual investors.
We are seeking a Manager, Finance, who will be responsible for fund accounting and reporting across the firm’s managed funds, plus new funds as they launch. The role covers full-cycle fund accounting under both IFRS and ASPE, internal management reporting, fund-level forecasting, treasury operations, and investor-facing materials, and manages one Analyst. The position is based in the Toronto office on a hybrid schedule (in-office the majority of the week, Monday mandatory).
Key Responsibilities
- Fund accounting & reporting — Full-cycle fund accounting and financial reporting under both IFRS and ASPE
- Internal management reporting — Prepare and deliver management reporting for internal stakeholders
- Forecasting — Cash flow, NAV, and distribution forecasting at the fund level
- Loan loss provisioning — Assess and maintain expected credit loss / allowance provisioning on the mortgage portfolio under IFRS 9 and ASPE, including staging, assumptions, and support for auditors
- Consolidated entity reporting — Prepare consolidated and inter-entity reporting across fund, holding, and operating entities, including eliminations, intercompany balances, and equity/non-controlling interest presentation
- Investor relations support — Handle ad-hoc reporting and data requests from investors
- Capital markets support — Build decks and materials to support investor discussions and capital raising efforts
- Treasury operations — Manage treasury operations across managed funds and the corporate entity
- Team leadership — Develop and mentor finance staff (1 direct report); review work and hold team to a high standard
- Cross-functional execution — Work closely with Investment Management on deal-related and special loan matters

What We Believe Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess
- 5–8 years of experience in fund accounting/reporting
- CPA designation, in good standing
- Ideally, experience in real estate debt, mortgage funds, or private credit
- Working knowledge of both IFRS and ASPE
- Prior people leadership experience, or clear readiness to lead a small team
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience preparing investor-facing materials (decks, DDQs, ad-hoc reporting)
- Experience with recent fund launches (structuring, controls, reporting infrastructure)
- Exposure to treasury/cash management across multiple entities
