All Ways of Caring is seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers/PSWs to provide high-quality, person-centred support to clients in their homes and community settings.

This role supports comfort, safety, dignity, and independence by delivering care in accordance with each client’s care plan and All Ways of Caring standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in the care plan and within your training and scope, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
- Support clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and companionship as required.
- Follow the client’s care plan as directed by the Care Designer and promptly report concerns or changes in the client’s condition.
- Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, positioning, and exercises as instructed and trained.
- Use mobility aids and equipment safely and appropriately.
- Promote client safety, comfort, and overall well-being.
- Maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality.
- Document care and relevant observations accurately and thoroughly using company tools and processes.
- Work within the limits of your competence and training and ask for guidance when care needs exceed your scope.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS




- Previous experience in caregiving, assisted living, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration and basic healthcare practices is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families.
- A compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends , as we provide 24-hour care to our clients.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerability Sector Search , completed within the last year.
- Current First Aid & CPR certification .
- TLR certification is preferred but not required.
