Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs at the checkout counter or front end area
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other forms of payment with precision and integrity
- Provide product demos and upsell additional items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the front end area is clean, welcoming, and well-stocked
- Answer customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and clarity




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without sacrificing accuracy or friendliness

Qualifications

- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail technology is advantageous
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent organizational skills to keep the checkout area tidy and stocked
- Demonstrated time management skills to handle peak hours effectively
