Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CCTV Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems across various sites. Your expertise will ensure the security and surveillance infrastructure operates seamlessly, providing safety and peace of mind for our clients.

Responsibilities

- Install CCTV cameras, sensors, and related equipment according to schematics and technical blueprints.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on surveillance systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to CCTV hardware, computer hardware, low voltage wiring, and network connectivity.
- Read and interpret schematics, construction plans, electrical diagrams, and telecommunication layouts for accurate system setup.
- Collaborate with construction teams to integrate CCTV systems into building infrastructure using power tools and hand tools safely.
- Configure and test computer networking components such as IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) and sensors to ensure secure data transmission.




- Document all installation procedures, maintenance activities, and system modifications accurately in logs and reports.

Experience

- Proven experience with CCTV system installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance in a commercial or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, construction practices, and mechanical systems related to security installations.
- Familiarity with computer hardware components, networking principles, low voltage wiring, and telecommunication systems.
- Hands-on experience working with power tools, hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly techniques.
- Electrical experience including wiring of sensors, IDS devices, cameras, and other low voltage equipment.
- Ability to interpret schematics related to electrical circuits and telecommunication layouts accurately.
- Construction experience is highly desirable for seamless integration into building infrastructure.
