Waterloo West Dentistry is seeking a reliable and upbeat Certified Level II Dental Assistant to join our team.

We are a small family dental practice providing comprehensive dental care in a friendly and professional environment.

We are looking for someone who is positive and genuinely enjoys working as part of a team. The ideal candidate is dependable, willing to help others, takes initiative, and contributes to a supportive and respectful workplace. New graduates are welcome to apply, and training and mentorship will be provided.

This is a full-time position with a regular weekly schedule:

- Monday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Tuesday & Wednesday: scheduled clinical shifts, including one evening per week until 7:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM, once or twice a month

Only one evening shift per week is required.

Responsibilities

- Chairside assisting for restorative procedures, crown and bridge, endodontics, extractions, implants, and other dental procedures
- Taking digital radiographs
- Taking impressions and digital intraoral scans
- Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring efficient patient turnover
- Instrument sterilization and maintaining IPAC standards
- Preparing dental materials and instruments




- Providing patients with pre- and post-operative instructions
- Maintaining accurate and organized clinical records
- Supporting dentists and other team members throughout the clinical day
- Assisting with inventory and general clinical organization
- Helping create a positive and welcoming experience for patients and coworkers

Qualifications
- Certified Level II Dental Assistant
- Current HARP certification
- Current CPR certification

Experience with Tracker, digital intraoral scanning, endodontics, oral surgery, implants, or sedation dentistry is an asset.
