Location(s): Montreal A career as a Chief Analyst in the Financial Performance Management team at National Bank means serving as a Financial Analysis and Business Analytics Specialist. This position allows you to have a positive impact on the Personal Banking sector thanks to your expertise in performance monitoring, financial forecasting and data valuation. You transform complex financial and operational information into clear analyses that support decision-making, growth and profitability.

Your job

- Produce and explain financial results, variances and key performance indicators to help sectors understand their issues.
- Leverage various data sources to generate value-added analyses and develop dashboards and performance indicators.
- Help adopt new analytical, automation and artificial intelligence approaches in a financial context.
- Identify and implement opportunities to simplify and continuously improve processes, while contributing to the development of the team's analytical capabilities.
- Participate in forecasting, budgeting and financial planning processes and improve the models used to project changes in results.
- Carry out financial and operational analyses that support business decisions and evaluate initiatives.

Prerequisites

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and five years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in a relevant field and four years of relevant experience
- Experience in financial analysis, financial planning and analysis, financial modelling or business analytics
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with Power BI or another data visualisation tool, an asset.
- Experience with SAP and complex data environments, an asset.
- Knowledge of generative artificial intelligence tools and interest in using them in a financial context.
- Chartered Professional Accountant designation, an asset.
