Purpose of the Position:
Assist Design Manager and Branch Manager in tender and/or construction phase of projects.
Work with Operations Manager to learn the business process and techniques by participating in tender and/or field construction activities, as well as assist in establishing work histories.
Major Functions:
- Adhere to all company health, safety, environmental, commercial, and financial policies and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of project HSE documentation, including risk assessments, project documentation, site orientations, estimating, planning, and scheduling activities.
- Prepare and maintain geotechnical project documentation in a qualified and accurate manner.
- Assist in the preparation of drawings, quantity take-offs, and quantity comparisons.
- Produce project layouts, coordinates, and related surveying deliverables under supervision.
- Prepare, organize, and update project office documentation and binders.
- Prepare, organize, and update site documentation and binders.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of project submittals and technical documentation.
- Conduct soil investigation data reviews, analyses, and comparisons.
- Assist in the preparation of project case histories and technical reports.
- Perform geotechnical calculations and analyses under the guidance of senior engineering staff.
- Review tender documents and prepare concise summaries of contractual and technical requirements.
- Support the Design & Estimation team in preparing proposals, cost estimates, and project deliverables.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering, estimating, and project execution processes.
Knowledge:
- Civil Engineering student
- Knowledge of Geotechnical Engineering
- Computer competencies in MS office, AutoCAD (Civil3D), MS Project, MS Teams, and other software required

Pay: $23.50-$26.00 per hour
