About the Position
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Labourers to join our field crews in Fort McMurray.
In this role, you will support the grounds crew for directional drilling operations and assist hydrovac swampers with day-to-day site activities.
This is a physically demanding position suited to individuals who work well outdoors, follow safety procedures, and are comfortable working as part of a fast-paced construction and utility-services team.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will assist with the setup, operation, and cleanup of directional drilling and hydrovac work sites. Duties may include preparing work areas, handling hoses, tools, and materials, supporting equipment operators and drill crews, maintaining a clean and organized site, and helping with general labour tasks as directed by the supervisor.You will be expected to follow all company and site-specific safety requirements, use personal protective equipment correctly, identify and report hazards, and maintain a professional attitude when working around clients, coworkers, equipment, and the public.Qualifications and RequirementsThe successful candidate will be dependable, physically capable, and willing to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
Previous experience in construction, directional drilling,
hydrovac, utilities, pipeline work, or general labour is considered an asset but is not required. A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, good communication skills, and the ability to follow instructions are essential.
Candidates must be prepared to lift and move materials, stand or walk for extended periods, work around heavy equipment, and maintain a secure and productive work pace. A valid driver’s licence and applicable safety tickets may be required depending on project and site requirements.
