Igloo Transport is hiring a full-time Class 1 or Class 3 driver based in Moncton, New Brunswick.

This position primarily involves operating a straight truck from our Moncton cross-dock location for local and regional deliveries throughout New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.

Primary Routes:

- Moncton and surrounding areas
- Fredericton
- Saint John
- Prince Edward Island
- Other regional routes as required

Responsibilities:

- Operate a commercial straight truck safely and professionally.
- Pick up freight from our Moncton cross-dock facility and complete local and regional deliveries.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Handle loading and unloading as required.
- Use a pallet jack and liftgate when required.
- Complete delivery documentation and update delivery information through our TMS/mobile system.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, deliveries, delays, and operational issues.
- Maintain a skilled relationship with customers and warehouse staff.

Requirements:





- Valid Canadian driver’s licence (Class 1 or Class 3) with Air Brake endorsement.
- Fluent in English for daily communication and work tasks. Chinese language skills are an asset.
- Commercial straight truck driving experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Moncton, New Brunswick, and PEI road networks is an asset.
- Comfortable using computers or mobile devices to operate TMS systems and manage delivery data.
- Flexible to work early/late shifts and weekends as required.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Physically able to handle some loading/unloading tasks.
- Responsible, punctual, and customer-service oriented.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
