CLASS 1 SKID STEER & TRUCKHOE OPERATOR

Marshall Construction is a full-service concrete foundation company located in Red Deer County, Alberta. We're looking for an experienced Class 1 Skid Steer & Truckhoe Operator who takes pride in their equipment, values safety, and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty when needed.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING As a Class 1 Skid Steer & Truckhoe Operator, you'll support residential and commercial construction projects .

Your responsibilities will include

- Operating skid steers for grading, site preparation, and material handling
- Operating truckhoes for excavation, trenching, backfilling
- Driving Class 1 trucks to haul aggregates, construction materials, and equipment
- Loading, unloading, and transporting materials safely and efficiently
- Performing daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Completing pre-trip inspections and maintaining accurate logbooks
- Working closely with supervisors and site crews to meet project deadlines
- Assisting with labour duties when required
- Maintaining a clean and professional work environment
- Following all company safety procedures and industry regulations

This is a hands-on position.



We need someone who is comfortable operating equipment, driving truck, and contributing to the success of the team on the ground.

WHAT YOU BRING

Required Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence
- Minimum 3 years of Class 1 driving experience
- Experience operating skid steers
- Experience operating truckhoes
- Manual transmission experience
- Clean driver's abstract (3 demerit points max)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs.)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Willingness to work overtime and occasional Saturdays
- Ability to travel as required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Test

Assets

- Experience hauling aggregates
- Construction or concrete foundation experience
- Ground Disturbance Certification
- WHMIS Certification
- Experience operating additional heavy equipment
- Knowledge of excavation and site servicing practices
