We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaning Staff & Daycare Assistant. This dual-role position plays a key part in maintaining a clean, safe, and supportive environment for children and staff at our daycare. The successful candidate will assist in the classroom during the day and complete all cleaning tasks during the designated cleaning shift between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning Duties (Between 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM):

- Clean and sanitize 8 classrooms daily, including floors, surfaces, furniture, and toys.
- Clean classroom washrooms: toilets, sinks, counters, and garbage disposal.
- Mop and maintain cleanliness of hallways, common areas, office and gym.
- Follow health and safety protocols, including secure handling of cleaning products.




- Report any maintenance concerns or hazards to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

- Experience in childcare and/or cleaning is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks as required.
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Screening and up-to-date immunizations (required if working with children).
- CPR/First Aid Certification is an asset.

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
