Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring efficient clinic operations, and creating a welcoming experience for patients.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, has strong organizational skills, and is passionate about patient care. Experience with Accuro EMR is considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilites

- Assist physicians and healthcare providers during patient assessments, examinations, and procedures
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure all required supplies, instruments, and equipment are available and properly maintained
- Obtain and accurately document patient information, including vital signs, medical histories, and presenting concerns
- Enter and maintain accurate patient records within Accuro EMR
- Support patients by providing instructions, answering questions, and ensuring a comfortable and professional experience
- Administer medications and treatments under physician supervision and according to clinic protocols
- Assist with procedures, specimen collection, dressings, injections, and other clinical tasks as required
- Maintain infection prevention and control standards, including room cleaning and sterilization of equipment
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to support efficient clinic flow




- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and restocking medical supplies
- Ensure patient confidentiality and maintain compliance with clinic policies and privacy regulations

Requirements

- International Medical Graduates (IMGs) are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a clinical, hospital, or medical office setting is preferred; however, training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience using Accuro EMR is preferred
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care procedures, and clinical documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate and professional approach to patient care
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential patient information
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and infection control practices is an asset
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or willingness to obtain it is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
