We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining a Mazak Integrex 70YB multi-tasking machine. The CNC Machinist will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality production, adhering to safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing environment. Salary will be based on experience and skills.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Mazak Integrex 70YB machine
- Perform CNC programming and editing (Mazatrol / G-code)
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models created in SolidWorks or other CAD software.
- Perform precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other hand tools to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Adjust machine parameters and troubleshoot issues during machining processes to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment and perform basic repairs as needed.
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize machining processes and reduce waste.
- Assist in assembly operations when required, supporting overall production goals.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven 3+ years experience as a CNC Machinist with knowledge of CNC programming
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models (SolidWorks preferred).
- Experience with calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, forklift operation, and assembly is a plus.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a rapid-paced manufacturing environment.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
