Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Plasma/Drill Machine Operator to join our energetic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC Plasma & drill machines to produce high-quality precision parts. Your expertise will ensure efficient production processes, adherence to safety standards, and the delivery of superior products.

Responsibilities
- Set up CNC machines including plasma & drill equipment by installing tooling, fixtures, and programming parameters using CAD files and CNC programming knowledge.
- Operate CNC machinery such as CNC plasma and drilling machines to produce parts according to blueprints and technical specifications.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure precise machining operations.
- Monitor machine operations throughout production runs, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot mechanical or software issues promptly.
- Conduct quality control checks using calipers, hand tools, and other measurement devices to verify dimensions and tolerances meet specifications.
- Assist in packaging finished products securely for shipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, machine logs, and inspection reports for continuous improvement purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC Plasma, milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming like Lincoln PythonX or other control systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics with precision.
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in welding, assembly processes, and the use of hand tools.
- Basic math skills including use of measuring tools and understanding of tolerances.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus for troubleshooting automation systems.
- Overhead crane and warehouse experience is advantageous for material handling tasks.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to machining environments including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
