Our Team is growing! We are looking for a CNC Programmer/Operator!

The CNC Programmer is primarily responsible for the programming and efficient running of the various CNC machines. They interpret technical drawings and instructions to complete projects accurately while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines. This individual will work closely with toolmakers, designers and the quality department, to ensure that materials are cut to required specifications.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Program and run CNC machines (3-axis & 5-axis)
- Develop programs using Cimatron
- Interpret CAD drawings and apply GD&T;
- Set up tooling and optimize machining processes
- Safely operate machine shop equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot failures to improve efficiency
- Support continuous improvement - work with engineers, tool makers and other departments to develop tooling, address production issue and mentor junior team members
- Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 5+ years of custom CNC programming experience
- Strong 3-axis and 5-axis machining background
- Proficiency in Cimatron is preferred
- Expertise in blueprint reading, GD&T;, and precision measurement




- Experience with gauges, fixtures, moulds, jigs, dies, and automation components
- Able to lift at least 10kgs (20lbs), sitting for long periods of time, climbing, bending and manual dexterity are necessary
- Solid organizational and communication skills, especially in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and handle frequent interruptions on a regular basis
- Experience with problem solving and decision making
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Able to proactively identify issues, analyze data and implement effective solutions
- Concern for all aspects of the job, a robust commitment to completing work and maintaining productivity
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.)

There are two new positions available: 1. Afternoon Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:30pm – 2:00am

2. Weekend Shift: Friday – Sunday, 6:00am – 6:30pm

Salary will be determined based on experience.
