Medical Clinic Cleaner

We are looking for a reliable, thorough, and detail-oriented cleaner to maintain a clean, sanitary, and qualified environment in our medical clinics.

Responsibilities

- Clean and disinfect examination rooms, treatment areas, offices, reception, waiting areas, hallways, and staff areas.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, including door handles, light switches, counters, chairs, sinks, and other frequently touched surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect washrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, and fixtures.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop all floors.
- Empty garbage and recycling and maintain waste areas.
- Clean kitchen/break-room areas.
- Dust and clean accessible surfaces, furniture, baseboards, doors, and windowsills.
- Clean under and behind furniture and equipment where accessible.
- Perform periodic deep cleaning, including floors, baseboards, walls, vents, windows, storage areas, and other hard-to-reach areas.
- Exercise care when cleaning around all clinic equipment, medical equipment, furniture, computers, and other technology.
- Do not move, unplug, or operate medical equipment unless specifically authorized.
- Follow proper infection-control, cleaning, disinfecting, and WHMIS procedures.
- Report spills, damage, maintenance issues, or safety concerns promptly.

Requirements




- Previous cleaning experience required; medical/healthcare cleaning experience is an asset.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Able to work independently.
- Professional and respectful around patients and staff.
- Comfortable following infection-control and safety procedures.
- Must maintain patient confidentiality.
- Must take care and use appropriate cleaning methods around clinic equipment and property.

Compensation & Locations We are looking for a flat-rate quote for weekly cleaning of two medical clinics, each approximately 2,000 sq. ft.:

- Kitchener, Ontario – approximately 2,000 sq. ft.
- Waterloo, Ontario – approximately 2,000 sq. ft.

Cleaning will be performed after clinic hours, outside of regular patient and staff hours. We welcome quotes from experienced individual cleaners as well as established cleaning companies.

Please include your proposed weekly flat rate for cleaning both locations when applying.

Schedule: Weekly, after hours.
