We are looking for a Controls Programmer to join their exciting and growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on controls professional to work on custom automation projects from programming and integration through machine startup and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs
- Program using Rockwell, Schneider, and Siemens platforms
- Develop ladder logic and machine control systems
- Support machine startup, debugging, and commissioning
- Work with electrical and pneumatic systems
- Integrate robotics, machine vision, and automation systems




- Read and interpret electrical and pneumatic drawings
- Prepare technical documentation
- Support multiple automation projects and priorities

Qualifications
- 3+ years of controls/automation experience
- Two-year technical diploma or four-year degree in a related field
- Experience with:
- Rockwell / Allen-Bradley – Studio 5000
- FactoryTalk View Studio
- Schneider – Unity
- Siemens – TIA Portal
- Strong PLC and HMI programming skills
- Experience with machine startup and debugging
- Ability to read electrical and pneumatic drawings
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability and willingness to travel as required
- Robotics experience is an asset
- Previous automation industry experience is preferred
