Coordinator, Student Recruitment & Engagement

Location: Banff, Alberta

Salary: $60,000 annually + benefits and paid time off

Regular travel required The Role

We are looking for an outgoing and highly personable Coordinator, Student Recruitment & Engagement to support both the recruitment of future students and the experience of our current student community.

Working closely with the Senior Manager, Student Recruitment & Enrolment, this role will support recruitment and sales activities including school visits, trade shows, recruitment events, prospective student outreach, and enrollment follow-up.

When in Banff, the Coordinator will be actively involved with our 2026–2027 student community, supporting Program Managers with curriculum and field delivery, attending student events, and building meaningful relationships with students throughout their experience.

This is an active, people-focused role that combines travel, sales, student engagement, and time in the field. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in the ski and outdoor industry and be excited to represent the experience of studying and living in Banff.

Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Recruitment & Enrolment

- Support the Senior Manager in delivering the annual student recruitment and enrolment plan.
- Attend school visits, trade shows, education fairs, conferences, open houses, and other recruitment events.
- Travel to priority recruitment markets throughout the year.
- Connect with prospective students and families and support ongoing lead follow-up.
- Assist with recruitment presentations, information sessions,



campus visits, applications, and enrolment activities.
- Maintain accurate prospective student information and activity within the school’s CRM.

Student Engagement & Program Support

- Build positive and meaningful relationships with current students throughout the academic season.
- Support Program Managers with curriculum, student programming, events, and field activities.
- Participate in appropriate outdoor programming, including skiing, backcountry skiing, hiking, and other mountain-based activities.
- Attend and support key student events, including orientation, community activities, and graduation.
- Help foster an engaging, welcoming, and connected student experience.

What You Bring

- Experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, tourism, recreation, education, or another people-focused environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with both prospective and current students.
- Comfortable with proactive outreach, sales conversations, presentations, and meeting new people.
- Highly organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities.




- Ability and willingness to travel regularly and occasionally work evenings or weekends.
- A genuine interest in skiing, mountain sports, tourism, and the outdoor industry.
- Familiarity with Banff National Park and the Bow Valley, or a willingness to quickly develop this knowledge.
- Comfortable participating in outdoor and field-based activities.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and willing to jump in wherever needed within a small team.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a seasonal, fixed-term position.

Compensation: $60,000 annualized salary, prorated for the contract term of October 1, 2026 to May 31, 2027.
