Staff
Accountants are responsible for performing routine and increasingly complex accounting and tax services under the direct supervision of an engagement lead. These individuals are expected to apply both their formal education and in-house training in practical settings. Staff accountants have a high level of perseverance, integrity, honesty and self-accountability as you are in a period of intensive learning where your formal education is enhanced through practical application.
As experience is gained, Staff Accountants progress from working on basic audit items to more advanced tasks.
Responsibilities include reviewing system summaries and engagement scoping documents, completing walkthroughs, and preparing quality working papers for compilations, review engagements,
and audits.

Accountants assist in analyzing and documenting internal controls and organizational structures for larger audits and may test assigned sections. Equipped with a University degree and aspirations to pursue a CPA Designation, we are looking for team members that maintain the following knowledge, abilities and skills: Skilled curiosity and ownership of personal career goals Community focused Working knowledge of accounting standards, accounting and tax software such as Caseware, Taxprep, QuickBooks/Sage etc are also considered as asset.
