Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools covers a geographical area that includes the regional communities of Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, Sexsmith, and Spirit River.

Position Overview

Custodians are responsible to maintain a clean, safe and healthy workplace, which contributes a great deal to the morale of the school population and an appealing appearance to the public.

Ideal Candidate Qualities

- Good communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Attention to detail
- Keep building neat and clean at all times
- Empty trash containers in classrooms,



bathrooms and all common areas throughout the facility daily
- Vacuum/dry mop all floors and stairs daily
- Clean bathrooms (sinks, toilets and counters/fixtures/dispensers and walls/door frames) and classroom sinks daily

Desired Qualifications

- Some High School
- WHMIS training

Starting compensation will be as per the collective agreement: $24.57/hour along with a generous benefit package. A recent Police Information Check will be required if you are the successful applicant. Only those applicants who are short-listed for an interview will be contacted.
