Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their automotive concerns and needs
- Provide expert advice on vehicle repairs, maintenance options, and available services
- Schedule appointments efficiently, ensuring smooth workflow for the service team
- Upsell additional services or parts when appropriate, enhancing customer value and dealership revenue
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including payments for services and parts
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service orders, and sales activities
- Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to relay customer feedback and ensure satisfaction
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure their needs were met and gather feedback for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a dealership or automotive service environment is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience to confidently discuss vehicle issues and solutions
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to upsell products and services tactfully while prioritizing customer needs
- Experience with automotive repair processes or technical terminology is a plus
- Cash handling experience to manage transactions accurately
- Knowledge of automotive parts, maintenance procedures, and dealership operations is advantageous
