Role Description The Data Consultant Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and business decision-making. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand data requirements, architecting data pipelines, and implementing robust Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes. Day-to-day tasks include developing and optimizing data models, managing data warehousing environments, and ensuring data integrity, quality, and security across systems.

Engineer will analyze complex datasets to generate insights, support dashboards and business intelligence tools, and recommend improvements to data architecture and performance. The role also includes documenting solutions, following best practices, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and maintainable data platforms.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Data Engineering skills, including building and maintaining data pipelines and integrating data from multiple sources.
- Candidates should possess Data Modeling and Data Warehousing skills to design scalable data structures and manage analytical data stores.
- Candidates should possess Extract Transform Load (ETL) skills to develop, optimize, and monitor data ingestion and transformation workflows.
- Candidates should possess Data Analytics skills to interpret complex datasets, support reporting, and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency with SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (such as Python or Scala).
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data tools (e.g., Spark, Kafka, or dbt) is highly beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
