The mission of the Global Technology division is to provide a highly reliable and commercial technology platform, which supports the Firm?s strategy, delivered by an innovative, world-class team of professionals. There are ten divisions within Technology.

Institutional Corporate Technology (ICT) is responsible for developing enterprise applications for a diverse set of businesses including Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research, and Global Capital Markets. In addition, ICT provides technology solutions for client-aligned groups and company-wide divisions, such as Finance and Operations, post-trade functions within the Institutional Securities Group and standardized data and enterprise-wide services to provide leverage to the Firm's businesses.

The Spend Management (SMIT) at Brokerage is responsible for managing the Spend Management Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence applications. The group is a global team with presence in the US, Canada and India. The group is looking for a strong technologist with vast experience in databases, data integration and data warehousing. Tasks include but are not limited to:

- Support large initiatives/projects related to enhancing and expanding the existing infrastructure (data warehouse).




- Hands on development related to all aspects of the data warehouse (database, ETL, autosys, security, etc.).
- Perform actual development work and guide/train junior members of the team.

Responsibilities

- Work closely with business analysts and technical leads in NY to understand requirements for projects of varying levels of complexity.
- As part of a matrix organization deliver projects of various complexities, enhancements and bug fixes.
- Key responsibilities:
- Development of data integrations using Informatica / database (DB2) procedure.
- Development of shell scripts, scheduling batches to integrate data flows.
- Perform unit and integration testing.
- The candidate msut be well-versed with relational databases such as IBM DB2, and have prior experience with Data Warehousing and Integration.
- Institute policies such as peer and code reviews
- Troubleshoot and analyze issues
- Create technical specification documents across all tiers.
- Work with Architecture team to deliver solutions on time and on budget.
- Some Level 3 Production Support will be required to support Run The Bank items.

Qualifications

Skills Required

- A bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 9+ years of experience working as a hands-on developer in Information Technology.
- 5+ years of Database development experience, IBM DB2 is strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of ETL experience, using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Solid understanding of core database concepts and relational database design.
- Experience in writing shell scriptts, stored procedures, optimization and performance tuning.
- Extensive Data Warehousing experience.
- Excellent understanding of all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Ability to produce all kinds of technical documentation.
- Must be highly motivated and a self-starter with the ability to learn quickly.
- Analytical skills is a must.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a team player.

Skills Desired

- Experience of SAP - Ariba product suite will be storng plus
- Experience on SAP - HANA will be plus
- Autosys
- Experience with BI tools (Business Objects, QlikView, Tableau)
