We are seeking a motivated and energetic Day Porter Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our commercial facilities throughout the day. Duties

- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct regular inspections of common areas, lobbies, hallways, and entry points to identify and address cleanliness or maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain supplies by restocking restrooms, break rooms, and cleaning stations as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
- Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or reporting larger repair needs to appropriate teams.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all cleaning activities and report any hazards or unsafe conditions immediately.




- Support event setups or breakdowns by preparing spaces before meetings or gatherings.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the facility remains clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.

Requirements

- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting light to moderate loads, and walking throughout the facility.
- Solid attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward cleanliness and safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues effectively.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic committed to maintaining a high standard of hygiene and presentation.
- Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and familiarity with cleaning supplies and equipment is advantageous.
