We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our dentists and hygienists in providing top notch care to our patients and can also manage front desk tasks and providing excellent customer service in a dental office setting.
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming demeanor
-prepare treatment rooms and instruments -Maintain infection control and sterilization protocols
- Answer and manage incoming calls
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Verify insurance information and process payments
- Maintain electronic medical records using our software Abeldent
- Assist with administrative tasks to support the dental office staff
-Collaborate with the team to achieve practice goals
Requirements
-Diploma in Dental Assisting
-Certification in dental assisting
- Previous experience in a dental office
- Proficiency in using phone systems and electronic medical records
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
-Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
