We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our dental team! Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling and plaque removal especially in areas of concern
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
- Assist with patient examinations by taking X-rays, medical histories, and documenting findings accurately
- Support the dental team during orthodontics, pediatrics, or other specialty treatments when required.
- Manage patient appointments efficiently using dental practice management software like Cleardent.
- Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure hygiene operatories are stocked and cleaned.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and ensuring a comfortable experience
Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in Alberta, Canada
- Experience with Cleardent or similar dental practice management software.
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
- Strong understanding of medical/dental terminology relevant to dentistry and oral health
- Previous experience in a dental office setting demonstrating excellent customer service skills. Open to new graduates 1-2yrs
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
