We are looking for an experienced building designer to join our team on residential, commercial, and renovation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare residential and commercial floor plans
- Prepare architectural drawings and plans
- Prepare structural drawings and plans
- Develop drawings for renovation and structural modification projects
- Coordinate architectural and structural requirements
- Work with engineers, contractors, and clients to develop practical construction solutions
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience with residential house design
- Experience with commercial building design
- Experience with renovation and alteration projects
- Solid understanding of construction methods and building details
- Proficiency with relevant design/drafting software
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
- Experience preparing drawings for building permit applications is an asset
