This full time role involves working closely with parents of children and youth experiencing developmental delays or neurodiversity.
You will focus on establishing trusting relationships while applying appropriate strategies to promote positive development. Furthermore, you'll participate in ongoing education and continuously adapt your approach to offer comprehensive support. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement caregiver-driven developmental strategies
- Monitor caseloads in collaboration with team leads
- Facilitate home and community visits for assessments
- Educate parents about developmental needs and cues
- Advocate for inclusive practices within community services
Requirements:
- Preferably a Master's or relevant Bachelor's degree
- Two years of experience in developmental support
- Familiarity with challenges related to FASD and ASD
- Valid BC Driver's License with regional insurance
- Background checks for shortlisted candidates
