The Director of Finance & Accounting is a senior financial leader responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting and financial operations across the organization. This position provides leadership over financial reporting, job cost accounting, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, internal controls, and accounting processes. Provide leadership and oversight of accounting and finance activities across the organization.

Establish and maintain consistent accounting policies, procedures, and financial controls throughout the organization. Ensure financial statements are accurate, complete, timely, and in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Establish and monitor accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP.

Identify financial risks, trends, and opportunities and provide recommendations to executive leadership. Prepare financial analysis and reporting for the CFO, executive leadership, shareholders, and other stakeholders.

• Risk Management Develop and maintain a strong internal control environment, establishing appropriate segregation of duties and financial controls. Lead continuous improvement initiatives designed to increase accuracy, efficiency, and accountability. Assist with the integration of new divisions, acquisitions, and organizational changes. • External Relationships Assist with management of banking relationships,



credit facilities, and liquidity. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, bonding companies, insurance providers, and other external stakeholders. Support annual financial statement audits and tax return preparation. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements. Maintain appropriate documentation and support for audit and tax requirements. Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance team members. Establish explicit expectations, accountability, and performance standards. Promote collaboration between accounting and division leaders, project teams, and operations. Provide training on construction accounting, job cost, WIP, and financial reporting to others throughout the organization. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field ~ 8 to 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience ~ Experience in the construction industry, preferably with a multi-division or multi-entity contractor ~ Strong knowledge of construction accounting, financial reporting, job costing, and percentage-of-completion accounting. ~ Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
