- Look for opportunities to improve how the association works and ensure its infrastructure can support future growth.
Turn strategy into action

- Bring a practical, solutions oriented perspective to associational performance and decision making.
Identify opportunities for growth
- Explore opportunities to expand membership, build partnerships and develop new or diversified sources of revenue.
- Bring curiosity and a commercial mindset to how the association can broaden its reach and impact.
Lead and develop people

- Encourage collaboration across membership, operations, programs and stakeholder engagement.
Build external relationships
- Develop strong relationships with members, partners and key stakeholders.
- Represent the association externally and help strengthen its profile, relationships and reach.
What You Bring
- You are a strategic thinker who is equally comfortable executing. You understand how strong operations enable growth and how member insights can influence broader associational strategy.
Ideally, you bring:
- 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience across membership, operations, customer or stakeholder engagement, or a related environment
- Demonstrated success developing strategies that drive growth, engagement and retention
- Strong financial and operational acumen, including experience with budgets and external vendors
- Experience improving processes, systems and associational effectiveness
- Strong relationship building skills with the ability to influence across different stakeholder groups
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to create clarity, accountability and momentum
- Comfort working in a smaller, dynamic association where leaders need to be both strategic and hands on
Why This Role
This is an opportunity to have genuine influence in a national association where your work will be visible, and your ideas can translate quickly into action. You will have the opportunity to shape membership strategy, strengthen how the association operates and contribute to its longer term growth and evolution.
