About the Role

Reporting to the Vice President, Mine Technical Services, the Director, Mineral Resources provides corporate technical leadership and governance for Mineral Resource estimation, reconciliation, and related public disclosures across Torex Gold. As the Company's designated Qualified Person for Mineral Resources, the Director is accountable for the accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance of Mineral Resource estimates and applicable exploration disclosures.

This role requires the technical depth to independently evaluate complex geological models and estimates, together with the leadership maturity to guide, challenge, and mentor site teams without taking over their work. The Director will work with stakeholders ranging from site geologists and technical specialists to executives and the Board and will support technical due diligence for potential acquisitions. The position is based in Canada and requires travel to site approximately every four to six weeks.

What We're Looking for

Qualifications

- Post-secondary degree in Geology or a closely related geoscience discipline.
- Current registration as a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.)



with a recognized professional association.
- Currently qualified to act as a Qualified Person for Mineral Resources under NI 43-101, with previous experience signing public Mineral Resource disclosures or NI 43-101 technical reports.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive mining and/or mining consulting experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Spanish is an asset.

Experience & Skills:
- Extensive experience in geological modelling, geostatistics, Mineral Resource estimation, resource classification, and technical documentation in accordance with CIM Best Practice Guidelines.
- Demonstrated experience across the field-to-model process, including drilling, sampling, chain of custody, QA/QC, database management, and reconciliation.
- Experience in an owner-operator mining environment with accountability for technical work through its full lifecycle; consulting experience is an asset.
- Experience with underground and open-pit operations. Precious metals and complex-deposit experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with major geological modelling and resource-estimation software. Leapfrog and experience with another major platform are preferred.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills, including the ability to mentor technical teams, work across functions and cultures, and communicate complex matters to executives and the Board.

Key Accountabilities Mineral Resource Governance and Estimation
- Develop and maintain corporate systems, standards, processes, and a clear calendar of expectations for Mineral Resource and Mineral Reserve governance.
- Oversee and critically review Mineral Resource estimates to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, CIM Best Practice Guidelines, and accepted industry practices.
- Act as Torex’s designated Qualified Person for Mineral Resources, providing final approval and accountability for applicable public disclosures.

Reconciliation
- Develop and oversee consistent reconciliation standards and processes across Torex operations.
- Review reconciliation results, investigate material variances, verify consolidated data, and approve final reporting provided to auditors.

Leadership and Technical Collaboration




- Build effective relationships and influence multidisciplinary corporate and site teams across functions and locations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop technical professionals, including the direct report, and communicate material technical matters to senior management and the Board.

Exploration and Public Disclosure
- Provide technical guidance on exploration priorities and ensure applicable exploration disclosures are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Mergers and Acquisitions
- Support technical due diligence by reviewing Mineral Resource estimates and providing independent recommendations on potential acquisitions and growth opportunities.

Technology and Continuous Improvement
- Identify and recommend technologies, methodologies, and practices that improve the quality, efficiency, and consistency of Mineral Resource estimation and governance.
