Vallari Decor is an e-commerce wedding and event décor company serving customers across Canada and the United States. We are looking for a motivated and reliable student to join our team and assist with day-to-day e-commerce and warehouse operations.
STUDENT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT:
This position is being offered through a student internship funding program. Applicants must currently be enrolled in a college or university program in Canada to be considered for this position. Please do not apply if you are not currently a post-secondary student.
What You'll Be Doing
This is a hands-on role with a mix of warehouse, inventory and e-commerce responsibilities, including:
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for shipment
- Receiving and organizing incoming inventory
- Maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse
- Inventory counting and stock management
- Preparing products and packaging for fulfillment
- Assisting with quality control
- Helping improve warehouse and order-fulfillment processes
- Creating and updating inventory records
- Assisting with e-commerce product organization and listings as needed
- Developing simple procedures and systems to improve day-to-day operations
- Assisting with other operational projects as the business grows
Who We're Looking For To be eligible,
you must currently be enrolled in a Canadian college or university program. We're looking for someone who is:
- Currently attending a college or university in Canada
- Reliable, organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse environment
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Comfortable using computers and learning recent systems
- Interested in e-commerce, business, operations, logistics or entrepreneurship
- Comfortable with a role that involves both physical tasks and computer-based work
- Able to commute to our Etobicoke location
Students from a variety of programs and fields of study are encouraged to apply. Your program does not need to be specifically related to warehouse operations or e-commerce.
About the Internship
This position provides practical experience in the day-to-day operations of a growing e-commerce business. You'll gain exposure to inventory management, fulfillment, logistics, e-commerce and the systems involved in operating and scaling an online business.
