Responsibilities

- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using proper cleaning techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the kitchen team in food handling and prep activities.
- Follow safety and sanitation standards to uphold hygiene regulations within the restaurant or hotel setting.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling processes to keep the work area tidy and compliant with health standards.




- Support the serving staff by providing clean dishes and utensils promptly during busy service times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during meal service and special events.

Experience

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued.
- Familiarity with basic kitchen operations, including food handling and cleaning procedures.
- Experience in hospitality settings such as hotels or catering services is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to cleaning and dishwashing.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols related to food service environments.
