Duties

- Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are organized and stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
- Support the food service team by providing clean dishes promptly during busy service times
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene compliance
- Help with waste disposal and recycling processes to keep the kitchen environment safe and eco-friendly




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to uphold cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant or hotel dining area

Requirements

- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food safety regulations
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food handling practices
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting
- Commitment to maintaining a hygienic environment aligned with health standards
