Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable delivery Driver and warehouse assistant with at least 5 years experience and a clean abstract to join our team. D-Z not required but definitely and asset. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and equipment, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the integrity of cargo.

This role offers part-time hours and an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a quick-paced environment. Candidates should possess strong driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Variable hours

Responsibilities

- Safely operate commercial vehicles for freight transportation and delivery
- Load, unload, and secure freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or other heavy machinery
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety standards are met




- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch or management
- Assist with minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation tasks
- Ensure cargo is handled carefully to prevent damage during transit

Skills

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, D-Z licence an asset.
- Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is an asset
- Knowledge of freight handling and securement techniques
- Basic automotive repair skills are a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills for coordination with team members and management
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Must be bondable

Pay: $30.00 per hour
