Vor-Tech Services Inc. is currently seeking a 4th or 5th Year Electrical Apprentice to join our team.
We are looking for an experienced apprentice with a strong background in commercial electrical work. The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently as well as part of a crew, reading drawings, troubleshooting, and completing installations in a safe and professional manner.
Location: GTA and surrounding areas
Position: Full-Time
Duties & Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial, including lighting, panels, distribution equipment, devices, conduit, and wiring.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and other construction documents.
- Troubleshoot and test electrical systems and equipment.
- Work safely and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Coordinate with foreman, project managers, other trades, and site personnel as required.
- Assist and mentor junior apprentices when appropriate.
- Follow company and site-specific health and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Registered 4th or 5th Year Electrical Apprentice (309A) in Ontario.
- Previous commercial and/or industrial electrical experience.
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites throughout the GTA and surrounding areas.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday.
- Overtime and occasional off-hours work may be available or required depending on project needs.

Pay: $29.00-$35.00 per hour
