This vital role combines emergency response coordination with an unwavering focus on guest safety. In this full-time position, you'll receive calls regarding injuries and emergencies, managing dispatching personnel and resources for swift and effective responses.
You'll act as the Incident Commander for major situations and liaise with external responders, all while documenting crucial operational data. Your skills in multitasking and organization are key to ensuring the safety and enjoyment of mountain guests. Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to and assess emergency calls from guests
- Delegate patrol responses effectively to incidents
- Serve as Incident Commander during major events
- Coordinate transport of guests and staff from slopes
- Maintain daily operation records, including incidents
Requirements:
- Background in patrol or emergency services
- Solid multitasking and organizational capabilities
- Ability to thrive under pressure
- Knowledge of Whistler Blackcomb's terrain preferred
