Join our dynamic team as an Equipment Operator/Tractor Driver, where you will be helping to harvest soybeans and corn. Tractor driving skills/experience will be a huge asset. This position is seasonal but could lead to full time employment.
Duties
- Operate tractors for grain handling and manure spreading
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal performance
- Use mechanical skills to inspect equipment for issues, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate repairs when needed
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and project progress requirements
- Proven experience operating tractors is a definite asset
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs and routine maintenance on machinery and tools
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in outdoor equipment maintenance and construction work
- Solid understanding of safety protocols related to heavy machinery operation and outdoor work environments
- Ability to follow detailed instructions while working independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions for extended periods
