C O M P E N S A T I O N
This is a field placement completed for academic credit through an approved Niagara College program. The club will complete and sign all placement documentation required by the College and assigns a named supervisor to each placement.
R E Q U I R E M E N T S
- Enrolment in a university or College program with a placement or practicum component, and confirmation from the College that the placement is approved under that program
- A current Ontario police record check including vulnerable sector screening, as several roles involve contact with players under 18
- A signed confidentiality agreement. Player evaluation, medical information, opponent analysis and commercial terms do not leave the staff group
- Reliable transportation to Port Colborne
H O W W E W O R K Two standards apply across every role. The first is accuracy: nothing is estimated, invented or filled in to make a document look complete. A blank cell is always better than a number with nothing behind it. The second is that the club does not overstate its role in anything, including its part in a player's development or a partner's results. Both standards apply to students exactly as they apply to staff.
