Hours: Full-time Term Length: Contract to February 28, 2027

About Us

Rhythmic Gymnastics Alberta (RGA) is a non-profit, community-based sports organization dedicated to promoting and growing rhythmic gymnastics across the province of Alberta. We work with athletes, coaches, officials, families, and volunteers to create fun, inclusive, and meaningful sport experiences.

Position Summary The Every Kid Can Play (EKCP) Program Manager supports RGA’s goal to grow the sport and connect with new-to-sport youth across Alberta. This role focuses on devising, managing, and delivering school based rhythmic gymnastics programs that engage youth participants, strengthens local school networks, and showcases the sport. The EKCP Program Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and delivering RGA’s EKCP goals and requirements in accordance with the Government of Alberta’s Every Kid Can Play grant fund program.

Key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

- Support the delivery of Every Kid Can Play programming to schools with the goal of expanding rhythmic gymnastics to new-to-sport participants.
- Work with the Executive Director to ensure the coordination and delivery of Every Kid Can Play programming, including ensuring smooth logistics and effective communications.
- Maintaining accurate records of program plans, activities, reports, and outcomes.
- In coordination with the Executive Director, developing, maintaining, and tracking all program expenditures.
- Any additional program or administrative tasks, as required.





In partnership with other members of the RGA team, including staff, contractors, and volunteer members, this role serves to strengthen program delivery and community engagement, while contributing substantially to sport-growth and enhancing RGA’s reputation as a trusted, progressive, and intersectional sports organization. This is a full-time contract position with versatile working hours and some travel to suit the needs of the program. The fixed end date of the position is February 28, 2027.

Qualifications & Skills

- Experience promoting, managing and delivering community engagement events.
- Proficient in Google Drive, Google Sheets, Excel and other cloud-based platforms.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Professional, approachable, and customer- service oriented.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing activities.
- Budgeting and tracking of expenses.
- Passion for sport and community involvement.

Working Conditions

- This is a full time contract position with flexible working hours to suit the needs of the program and its delivery.
- Ability to work remotely with some in-person activities and potential travel within Alberta, as needed.

Compensation

- This is a contract position with an all-in compensation of $4,500 per month.
