Position Summary Under the direct supervision of the Floor Manager, Table Games or Shift Manager, Table Games, this position is responsible for providing dealing services to customers while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Excellent Canadians learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Key Accountabilities
- Deals card games
- Maintains the security of the table and its float
- Controls the table in the correct order of play; closes bets at the appropriate time
- Refers disputes, irregularities or suspicious activities to the Manager
- Verifies chip refills and credits
- Tidies workstation and pit area
- Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Education And Qualifications
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, overnights and holidays
- One year professional Card Dealer experience
- Serving it Right Certificate
- Other languages an asset
- Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
