We are seeking skilled and experienced caulkers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, replacing sealants at various structures, including windows, doors, and control joints and any other type of application. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with precision to ensure high-quality finishes.
The caulker will require to be able to work at heights. Work requires ladder, lifts, scaffolding access . Car is a must. Projects spread across GTA. Piecework available for right candidates.
Responsibilities
- Utilize caulking materials to seal edges and prevent leaks.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on construction projects.
- Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Use hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping,
and finishing glass installations.
Skills
- Experience with caulking techniques for sealing glass installations.
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to weld when necessary for specific projects.
- Knowledge of construction painting methods as they relate to glass installations.
- Strong skills in using hand tools relevant to glazing work.
- Experience in restoration of existing glass structures is advantageous.
