Evolve Chiropractic & Wellness is expanding to West Springs, and we are looking for an experienced Osteopathic Manual Therapist to join our newest Calgary location as an independent contractor.

With two established Calgary clinics and our new West Springs location opening soon, Evolve offers the opportunity to build and grow your osteopathic manual therapy practice within an established multidisciplinary clinic group - without taking on the overhead, staffing, administration, marketing, and operational responsibilities of running a clinic independently.

This opportunity is particularly well suited to an Osteopathic Manual Therapist who has developed strong clinical skills, qualified referral relationships, or an existing patient following and is looking for a up-to-date, professionally managed environment in which to continue growing.

Our new clinic is located in West Springs in southwest Calgary, making this an especially attractive opportunity for practitioners who live nearby or already have professional connections within Calgary's west and southwest communities.

About the Opportunity We are seeking a professional, motivated, and patient-focused Osteopathic Manual Therapist who wants to build a strong long-term practice at our newest West Springs location.

The successful practitioner will operate as an independent contractor while benefiting from the infrastructure, administration, marketing, clinic systems, and multidisciplinary environment of Evolve Chiropractic & Wellness.

We are particularly interested in practitioners who enjoy working with:

- Musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction
- Back and neck concerns
- Sports-related injuries and recovery
- Active individuals and athletes
- Acute and chronic musculoskeletal concerns
- Mobility and movement restrictions
- Postural and biomechanical concerns
- TMJ and related musculoskeletal presentations
- Injury recovery
- Patients seeking ongoing manual therapy and supportive care

The ideal practitioner will have strong manual assessment and treatment skills, excellent clinical reasoning, and an interest in collaborating with Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Massage Therapists, Acupuncturists, Naturopathic Doctors, and other healthcare professionals when appropriate.

Responsibilities

You will





- Conduct comprehensive patient histories and assessments appropriate to osteopathic manual therapy
- Develop individualized, patient-centered treatment plans
- Provide safe and appropriate osteopathic manual therapy
- Apply manual techniques based on patient presentation, assessment findings, and treatment goals
- Assess movement, mobility, tissue restriction, and relevant structural relationships
- Monitor patient response and adapt treatment plans when appropriate
- Educate patients regarding movement, mobility, self-care, recovery, and strategies that may support treatment outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare practitioners when appropriate
- Maintain required professional association membership, liability insurance, continuing education, and professional requirements
- Practice within appropriate professional and ethical standards
- Actively develop and grow your osteopathic manual therapy practice

Required Qualifications

- Completion of a comprehensive osteopathic manual therapy education program
- Education meeting the membership requirements of the Alberta Association of Osteopathic Manual Therapists (AAOMT), or equivalent recognized Canadian osteopathic standards
- Active professional association membership in good standing, or eligibility for membership prior to beginning practice
- Practitioner eligibility for reimbursement through major extended health insurance providers
- Required professional liability insurance
- Strong manual assessment and treatment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to professional, patient-centered care
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications and Assets The following are considered assets but are not required:

- 3+ years of clinical osteopathic manual therapy experience
- Current membership with the Alberta Association of Osteopathic Manual Therapists (AAOMT)
- D.O.M.P. or equivalent recognized osteopathic manual therapy credential
- Strong experience treating musculoskeletal conditions
- Experience with sports-related injuries
- Experience working with active populations or athletes
- Experience with injury recovery and rehabilitation-focused care
- Strong structural and biomechanical assessment skills
- Experience with myofascial and soft-tissue approaches
- Experience with articular and mobilization techniques
- Experience with cranial osteopathic approaches
- Experience with visceral osteopathic approaches
- Experience treating TMJ-related presentations
- Previous education or experience in another health, rehabilitation, movement,



or manual therapy profession
- Experience collaborating with other healthcare professionals
- Established professional referral relationships
- An existing patient following
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a successful patient practice
- Interest in building a long-term presence within the West Springs community

Independent Contractor Structure

This is an independent-contractor opportunity.

The Osteopathic Manual Therapist will maintain professional autonomy over their practice while operating within Evolve Chiropractic & Wellness and within their education, competence, professional association requirements, and applicable scope of practice.

Compensation is based on a competitive percentage-based structure.Evolve provides the clinic environment, front-desk and administrative support, established clinic systems, and marketing support, allowing practitioners to focus on patient care and growing their practice.

Location and Schedule The clinic is located in West Springs in southwest Calgary.

The clinic operates Monday through Saturday.Practitioner schedules are flexible and will be established collaboratively between Evolve and the successful practitioner based on practitioner availability, patient demand, and clinic needs.

Both substantial part-time and full-time practice schedules may be accommodated.
