- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is cooked thoroughly and safely.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal preparation during busy service hours, supporting smooth kitchen operations.
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, preventing cross-contamination, and managing storage requirements.
- Support the team in plating dishes attractively and efficiently for service, ensuring timely delivery to guests.
- Daytime and weekend availability is a must.
Experience
- Proven food service experience in a restaurant or similar setting, with a focus on line cooking or meal preparation.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques across various cuisines and familiarity with kitchen equipment.
- Experience with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior experience in serving or supporting restaurant operations is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices for delivering excellent guest experiences.
