Good Times is looking for an experienced cook who genuinely cares about the food they put on the plate.

For this position, previous restaurant kitchen experience is required. We need someone who already understands how a professional kitchen works and can step into a busy environment with a solid foundation.

We’re a neighbourhood restaurant, not a formal one, but we take our food seriously.

Our focus is familiar, approachable food made really well with good ingredients, strong recipes and attention to detail.

Because excellent cooking doesn’t have to be formal to deserve that level of care.

Very little of our kitchen is freezer-to-fryer. Prep is a significant part of the job, and we make a lot of what we serve ourselves.

That means we’re looking for someone comfortable with real kitchen work: prep, knife work, portioning, following recipes, organization, consistency and maintaining quality when the restaurant gets busy.

Yes, we have fryers. But if using one is the extent of your kitchen experience, this won’t be the right position.

Who we’re looking for

You have solid previous restaurant kitchen experience.

You’re clean, organized and pay attention to detail.





You care whether something is seasoned properly, portioned correctly and presented the way it should be.

You understand that speed matters, but not at the expense of quality.

And you want to work with a team where people actually pull their weight.

Bring your A-game, because the people beside you have brought theres.

When someone is buried, we help. When prep needs to get done, we get it done. And the people running the restaurant are here putting in the hours too.

This is a part-time position, and weekend availability is required.
